About The e.Lib, Inc.This document provides some basic facts about The e.Lib, Inc. It is the not-for-profit corporation that receives and processes donations for: The e.Lib, Inc., Anthroposophical Publications, Fine Art Presentations - an e.Gallery, KnowNews dot Net (an anthroposophical newswire service), and bLogging at The e.Lib sites. It also seeks fundraising opportunities for these organizations. |
Mission
To:
- Support the Anthroposophical community and all who seek to expand their knowledge and enrich their lives, and
- With Anthroposophical Publications [https://AnthroposophicalPublications.org/], we are working toward publishing translations of the more than 3,000 Steiner lectures that have never been translated to English, as well as other works related to Anthroposophical thinking., and
- As an alternative to spammed-out listservers and online groups with ads and tracking, we are offering Study Groups Online [https://studygroups.online/], for Anthroposophists to set up moderated groups. For example, a group may be studying a particular book or discussing ideas in general.

The e.Lib, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation registered in the state of Michigan. The registered office address of the corporation is 2343 W. 22nd Street, Fremont, MI 49412-9761 US. The mailing address is: P.O. Box 1, Fremont, MI 49412-0001.
Tax Status
The e.Lib, Inc. has been granted tax exempt status by the State of Michigan as a not-for-profit corporation. Our federal exemption under section 501(c)(3) of the US Internal Revenue Code has also been received. Our Employer Identification Number (EIN #), is 20-0631312.
Volunteers
Volunteers who are maintaining The e.Lib and its offerings are, James Stewart, who founded The e.Lib in 1980, as Executive Director, and Marylin Kraker as the Assistant Executive Director and Project Coordinator. We have several friendly computers as assistants!

Refund Policy: If you feel that a donation was given in error, we will do everything we can to resolve the issue, including refunding the donation.

The amount of material, and the more than 30,000 visitors worldwide using our resources every day, requires an extensive investment in internet bandwidth and equipment. Our servers are housed in a separate, secure facility, designed specifically for computers that serve information to the Internet.
